Career and Technical Training
The Citrus County School District offers a variety of career and technical opportunities designed to prepare students for future careers. Citrus County School District offers ten different career clusters that encompass twenty-three different technical pathways. In their eighth-grade year, students may apply to special Career and Technical Academies located within our three high schools that address four different career clusters. Once in high school, students are also afforded the opportunity to apply to Withlacoochee Technical College where they can earn post-secondary credit while participating in our Dual Enrollment programs.
Withlacoochee Technical College (WTC), a part of the Citrus County School District, offers a wide range of career and technical education programs for both adult learners and qualifying high school students. WTC focuses on providing hands-on, real-world training with industry-standard curriculum and equipment, designed in close collaboration with local employers.
